2010年组建于古城西安，琥珀（Hupo）将西北风土、传统意象与当代器乐摇滚融汇于独具辨识度的声音景观。成立至今，乐队已发行《宿醉之星》《心中潮汐》《时间边界》《二三星火》四张专辑，完成多轮全国巡演及音乐节演出。

2026年，新专辑《二三星火》正式发行。这张历时两年完成的作品突破传统后摇框架，融入迷幻、氛围、Krautrock及传统器乐元素，先后获得 Apple Music 中国大陆、中国香港、中国台湾多个编辑推荐，并受到国内外媒体广泛关注与好评。

Warm, elegant and peachy melody as well as dedicated performance and physical attractiveness, Amber is described as the most stylized and distinctive Chinese post-rock band in the last decade. Amber’s first album ‘Drunk Star’ was released by 1724 Records in 2011, the self title track ‘Drunk Star’ has been being the introductory song of many post-rockers and also accompanied sensitive listeners from midnight to dawn. Meanwhile, 2300 of supporters joined Amber’s first China tour from November to December in 2017. Encouraged by all of these, Amber, a low-key band from Xi’an City is sparing no effort in making preparations for their 2nd album.
